1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this service, you agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety. If you disagree with any part, you must not use the service.

2. Service Description

We offer ebook format conversion services (PDF, EPUB, MOBI, AZW3), translation and summarization using conversion technology and artificial intelligence. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

This is a technical format conversion service, similar to a digital photocopier. We do not store, read, or analyze the content of files beyond what is necessary for the conversion process.

3. User Responsibility for Content

IMPORTANT DECLARATION: The user declares and warrants that:

• They have legal rights over the content they upload (ownership, license, or public domain)
• They assume full responsibility for verifying they have authorization to convert, translate, or process the content
• They will not use the service to process illegal, defamatory, or offensive content
• They will not attempt to breach system security

We understand that users upload ebook files they have legitimately acquired, whether through purchase, authorized lending, or because they are in the public domain. We trust the good faith of our users.

4. Intellectual Property and Copyright

LEGAL NOTICE: This service is a neutral technological tool, similar to format conversion software. We do not participate in or control what content users decide to process.

We are not responsible for:

• Copyright violations committed by users
• Unauthorized use of protected works
• Third-party claims regarding processed content
• The legality of content uploaded by users

Recommended use:

• Ebooks you have legitimately purchased and need in another format
• Works you have authored
• Public domain works
• Works with Creative Commons or other licenses that allow conversion
• Academic or research material with appropriate permissions

5. DMCA Compliance (Digital Millennium Copyright Act)

We operate as an online service provider under the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512). We do not proactively monitor content uploaded by users.

Notice and takedown policy: If you are a copyright holder and believe your work has been used in an infringing manner, you may submit a takedown notice. We respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

Repeat infringer policy: We reserve the right to terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.

6. Privacy and File Handling

We do not store your content:

• Files are processed in memory and deleted immediately after conversion
• Converted files are available for download for a limited time (maximum 1 hour) and then automatically deleted
• We do not read, analyze, or store copies of your ebook content
• We do not share files with third parties

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available"
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of conversions, translations, or summaries
• We are not responsible for data loss or indirect damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not responsible for how users use the service

8. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the service, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Their use of the service
• Violation of these terms
• Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
• Any content they upload to the service

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution mechanisms established by law.
